XRP ETFs vs Bitcoin & Ethereum ETFs: Who's Winning the Race?
The crypto market slipped 0.83% to $2.07 trillion as selling pressure returned across major assets. Bitcoin hovered below $60,000, while Ethereum traded near $1,557 after large holders increased selling. XRP price held around $1.05, supported by stronger ETF demand.
Fresh flow data showed XRP ETF products gaining inflows, while Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs continued to lose capital during a weak market session on June 26.
XRP ETFs saw total daily net inflows of $15.63 million on June 26, adding to cumulative net inflows of $1.47 billion. Over 30 days, XRP funds added $60.61 million in net inflows, contrasting sharply with Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs which both saw monthly outflows.
Bitwise’s XRP fund led daily inflows with $11.66 million, holding $293.49 million in net assets. Franklin’s XRPZ followed with $3.97 million in inflows and $235.20 million in assets. Canary’s XRPC held $234.97 million, while Grayscale’s GXRP was valued at $57.60 million. 21Shares’ TOXR remained negative on a cumulative basis.
Despite the inflows, XRP ETFs remain far behind in trading volume. Total value traded in XRP spot ETFs reached $22.04 million, with net assets of $934.26 million — equal to 1.44% of XRP’s market capitalization.
Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs continued to struggle, with both categories posting a seventh straight day of net outflows on June 26, according to SoSoValue. Spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced daily net outflows of $444.51 million from the U.S. market. Investors pulled $4.41 billion out of Bitcoin funds over the 31-day period, though net inflows over 12 months remained high at $51.61 billion.
All daily outflows came from BlackRock’s IBIT, which remains the top Bitcoin ETF by assets with $44.42 billion in net assets and $60.77 billion in cumulative inflows. Fidelity’s FBTC trailed with $10.44 billion in assets. Grayscale GBTC had no net redemptions on the day but cumulative outflows of $27.14 billion.
Ethereum ETFs saw daily outflows of $12.85 million, with monthly redemptions reaching $610.61 million. BlackRock’s ETHA remained the largest Ethereum fund at $4.27 billion in net assets and $11.08 billion in cumulative inflows. Grayscale’s ETHE recorded cumulative outflows of $5.33 billion.
In terms of overall size, Bitcoin still dominates. Net assets of U.S. Bitcoin ETFs totaled $72.82 billion with daily trading volume of $2.54 billion, far exceeding XRP’s activity. Ethereum ETF net assets stood at $8.38 billion, representing 4.42% of Ethereum’s market cap, while Bitcoin ETF assets equaled 6.08% of Bitcoin’s market value.
The data reveals a divergence in investor action: Bitcoin and Ethereum funds are seeing withdrawals, while XRP ETF products are attracting new demand. However, Bitcoin remains the largest ETF market by far. Traders are watching Bitcoin’s $58,000 support level; a break below could lead to $54,000, while a recovery above $61,800 might improve overall crypto ETF sentiment.
