Bitget Launches UEX Futures League Linking Crypto and Traditional Markets
Bitget has announced the launch of the UEX Futures League, a new multi-market trading tournament that integrates cryptocurrencies and traditional financial markets. The initiative offers participants a chance to qualify for the UEX Global Alpha Tournament (GAT), an invitation-only event for top-performing teams.
The UEX Futures League is a trading competition covering all crypto futures and contracts for difference (CFDs) within a single trade account. The format reflects the evolution of traders’ portfolios as they diversify into digital assets, commodities, indices, and forex markets.
The competition is divided into two phases over two months. The Crypto Futures phase runs from June 1 to June 30, and the CFDs phase runs from July 1 to July 31. Each round has a prize pool of 120,000 USDT. Teams are captained, with rankings determined by return on investment (ROI). The top 8 teams from each stage will qualify for the UEX Global Alpha Tournament.
Commenting on the launch, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said, “Trading has always been competitive, but it’s also one of the most social parts of our industry. The UEX Futures League brings those elements together by turning trading into a team experience where users can collaborate and represent their communities. By bringing crypto and traditional markets into a single competition, we’re creating something that’s not just about performance, but about the people and connection that make trading so engaging.”
Bitget plans to include 16 teams from around the world in the UEX Global Alpha Tournament, each comprising the top three traders from their respective teams. Finalists will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to an undisclosed location, where they will compete in real-time trading sessions for the championship.
The league also showcases Bitget’s wider Universal Exchange (UEX), which enables users to trade crypto, commodities, forex, indices, and other financial products within a single trading environment. Participants are trained through real-market competition rather than simulations. Registration for the UEX Futures League is now open.
