Grant Cardone Buys the Dip: Cardone Capital Tops 2,700 BTC With Bitcoin Near $59K

Importance High

Real estate mogul Grant Cardone announced that his firm, Cardone Capital, now holds more than 2,700 bitcoin (BTC), adding to its position as the cryptocurrency slipped toward $59,000.

The firm added 282 BTC on June 19, a purchase worth roughly $18 million at the time, and held approximately $200 million in bitcoin as of last month. Cardone, a real estate investor and online finance personality, has turned bitcoin’s recent slide into a marketing opportunity for his hybrid investment model.

Cardone Capital uses cash flow from its rental properties to buy bitcoin on a regular schedule, leaning into price dips rather than retreating. The strategy treats weakness as an opportunity to accumulate, a stance Cardone has maintained through the latest downturn. The firm owns thousands of residential units and Class A offices alongside its bitcoin treasury.

Cardone’s model combines income-producing property and bitcoin within a single limited liability company (LLC) structure, pitching projected returns of 22% to 32%. Instead of raising debt or issuing equity to buy bitcoin, Cardone routes recurring rental income into steady purchases. He aims for 3,000 BTC by the end of 2026 and 10,000 BTC over the longer term, while maintaining a bitcoin price target of $189,425 for 2026.

Cardone has argued that pairing real estate with bitcoin could outperform traditional real estate investment trusts (REITs). His approach echoes a wider corporate embrace of bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset, but differs by using apartment rents as a funding source rather than capital markets. He says this model is less fragile because it does not depend on debt maturities or share sales.

The strategy carries risks. Falling property cash flow, a slump in real estate values, or a deeper crypto downturn could slow purchases. Cardone’s position remains exposed to the same volatility that has pressured other corporate holders, as bitcoin’s drop toward $59,000 has tested treasuries that bought at higher prices, even as Cardone views the weakness as an entry point.
