BNB Chain Launches BNB Agent Studio for Autonomous AI Agents
BNB Chain, a major blockchain ecosystem, announced the launch of BNB Agent Studio, a developer platform designed to simplify the creation of autonomous AI agents that operate onchain. The solution addresses three key challenges: deployment, discoverability, and continuity.
Co-engineered with the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, BNB Agent Studio uses an Infrastructure-as-Code generator to automatically provision cloud environments via Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. Developers can define agents using Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible tool, abstracting away complexities like wallet integration, identity, payments, and hosting.
Key features include native integration with LLM aggregators, allowing agents to charge for services and accept crypto payments. Earnings can fund the agent’s own operating costs, creating a self-sustaining cycle. Agents are issued a verifiable digital identity (ERC 8004) controlled by the owner’s cryptographic keys, ensuring ownership and portability.
BNB Agent Studio builds on the earlier BNB Agent SDK, which established standards for identity (ERC8004), commerce (ERC8183), payment, and memory. The new platform aims to be the fastest path from concept to a fully operational agent. BNB Chain plans to ship updates fortnightly, expanding tooling for the agentic economy.
Nina Rong, Executive Director of Growth at BNB Chain, stated that previously building autonomous agents required integrating multiple vendors, taking days or weeks. BNB Agent Studio replaces that with a single install. With Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, agents can be paused, resumed, migrated, and transferred, including through tokenization.
BNB Chain is a community-driven ecosystem powering Web3 applications across DeFi, AI, gaming, and consumer use cases, with a multi-chain architecture including BNB Smart Chain, opBNB, and BNB Greenfield.
