XBTFX Launches MCP Server and Agent Stack for Crypto and CFD Trading Workflows
XBTFX has announced the launch of its MCP Server and Skills Hub, expanding its developer ecosystem following the introduction of its REST and WebSocket Trading API. The new infrastructure enables compatible software agents, coding assistants, and automation frameworks to connect with eligible live XBTFX trading accounts through structured, authenticated workflows, allowing supported applications to retrieve account information, access market data, and submit structured trading requests.
Intelligent software agents and automation tools are increasingly used for market analysis and research, but most remain separate from the trading account itself. XBTFX’s new infrastructure bridges this gap by providing authenticated account access, market-data connectivity, and execution infrastructure, without launching a proprietary decision engine or automated strategy.
The MCP Server acts as a structured tool layer between compatible clients and the XBTFX Trading API, supporting balances, margin, positions, orders, history, instrument data, and prices, as well as structured trading requests. The Skills Hub offers reusable instructions, endpoint definitions, and implementation examples for agents not directly using MCP, including workflows for LangChain, CrewAI, and Claude Code. The Trading API provides REST and WebSocket access for custom dashboards and automated strategies.
The integration supports over 400 instruments across forex, cryptocurrency CFDs, metals, indices, energies, and stocks, with BTC, ETH, and USDT-denominated accounts available. This enables crypto-focused traders to leverage always-on monitoring for digital asset markets, responding according to predefined instructions and risk controls.
Developed jointly by XBTFX and HuracanAI, the stack keeps control with the account holder. Users generate API keys through the XBTFX Console and can revoke them at any time. XBTFX recommends testing in account-information mode before enabling automated workflows.
The MCP Server, Skills Hub, and Trading API are available without separate subscription fees, with normal trading costs still applying. Documentation is available via the XBTFX Developer Hub.
“Modern software agents have become increasingly capable but have remained separate from the trading account itself,” said Peter Speros, XBTFX executive. “Our infrastructure is designed to provide structured, authenticated access while keeping control with the account holder.”
XBTFX is a multi-asset broker offering CFDs on forex, cryptocurrency, metals, indices, energies, and stocks. Trading leveraged products involves substantial risk and may not suit all investors.
