Bitcoin and Ether ETFs Attract $286 Million as Blackrock Funds Spark Broad Recovery

Importance Critical

Bitcoin and ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracted $286.35 million in combined net inflows on Monday, July 6, marking a broad recovery after weeks of heavy redemptions. Bitcoin ETFs led with $265.69 million, driven by Blackrock’s IBIT which added $209.40 million. Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust contributed $42.25 million, Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB added $32.98 million, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT brought in $10.96 million, Fidelity’s FBTC gained $9.71 million, and Bitwise’s BITB added $4.84 million. Grayscale’s GBTC was the only bitcoin ETF to see outflows, losing $44.45 million. Total bitcoin ETF value traded reached $2.53 billion, with net assets closing at $77.32 billion.

Ether ETFs accumulated $20.66 million in inflows, led by Blackrock’s ETHA with $23.29 million, while VanEck’s ETHV saw a small outflow of $2.62 million. Total ether ETF value traded was $526.75 million, with net assets at $9.54 billion.

Altcoin ETFs also participated in the recovery. HYPE ETFs added $8.43 million, primarily through Bitwise’s BHYP, with total value traded of $40.81 million and net assets of $370.78 million. Solana ETFs brought in $8.36 million, mainly via Bitwise’s BSOL, with $67.51 million in total value traded and net assets of $957.14 million. XRP ETFs saw no trading activity.

Analysts from Sosovalue described the current phase as a “repair observation window” after heavy redemptions. While bitcoin and ether have not yet completed a weekly flow reversal, the easing of redemption pressure and the return of institutional demand near key price zones are positive signals. Macro conditions, including higher-for-longer interest rate expectations and dollar liquidity, continue to influence the market, but Monday’s flows suggest a shift away from forced selling.
