XRP Price Forecast July 2026 After Ripple Secures Full MiCA Approval in Luxembourg

Importance High

Ripple has obtained a full Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework from the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF). This approval grants Ripple passporting rights across the European Economic Area, allowing the company to offer regulated crypto services in all 27 member states. The license follows initial clearance in June 2026 and complements Ripple’s existing EU e-money license, together financing its banking and business payment systems.

XRP’s price slipped 1.83% to $1.12 over the past 24 hours, though weekly gains remain near 10%. The broader crypto market showed momentum, with Bitcoin rising over 7% for the week and Ether trading around $1,770. Market sentiment improved following a second endorsement of pro-crypto policies by Donald Trump, while investors await final GENIUS Act rules expected before July 18, 2026.

XRP spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) extended their eight-week inflow streak, with cumulative net inflows reaching $1.49 billion. Data from SoSoValue shows zero daily net inflow on July 6, but total net assets stood at $1.05 billion, equivalent to 1.47% of XRP’s market cap. The total value traded among listed funds was $14.48 million. Bitwise’s XRP fund led with $330.84 million in net assets, followed by Canary ($265.30 million) and Franklin ($261.68 million). XRP-linked products recorded market price gains above 5% at close.

On the four-hour chart, XRP traded at $1.1278, just above the $1.12 support zone. The token lost its short-term rising channel around $1.15, which now serves as initial resistance. A break above $1.15 could pave the way toward $1.20, with further bullish momentum potentially driving XRP to $1.30 by the end of July. However, failure to reclaim $1.15 may keep sellers in control. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) near 49 indicates weak momentum, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) shows bearish bars below the signal line. If XRP loses $1.12, the next downside target could be around $1.05.
