XRP Ledger AI Hub Launches as Network Surpasses 1M Agentic Payments

Ripple-backed t54.ai has launched the XRP Ledger (XRPL) AI Hub, a comprehensive ecosystem platform for builders, users, and enthusiasts, aiming to foster an agentic economy on the network. The announcement came shortly after the XRP Ledger Foundation revealed that the network had surpassed one million agentic payments through the x402 protocol.

“We just surpassed 1,000,000 agentic payments via x402 on the $XRP Ledger. Time to double down,” the foundation posted on X, highlighting the milestone. The foundation also welcomed the AI Hub, describing it as a new platform for the community.

XRPL validator Vet expressed no surprise at the milestone, noting that the XRP Ledger is uniquely positioned for AI needs due to its low-cost infrastructure, predictable fees, and the native XRP asset, which is widely listed and liquid. Vet also highlighted the native decentralized exchange that enables round-the-clock, censorship-resistant asset swaps.

The AI hub initially focuses on three core areas, including live x402 payment activity on the network, providing real-time visibility into agent-to-agent transactions. This development marks a significant step in integrating artificial intelligence with blockchain technology on the XRP Ledger.
