Bitcoin ETFs Finally Snap 8-Week Losing Streak With Almost $200M in Inflows

Importance High

After eight consecutive weeks of net outflows, spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have finally posted a week of positive net inflows. The turnaround comes amid a price rebound for both Bitcoin and Ethereum.

According to data, the five-day trading period ending last week saw nearly $200 million in net inflows—the first green week in two months. Monday was the strongest day with $265.69 million entering the funds, followed by $21.44 million on Tuesday and $90.44 million on Friday. Wednesday and Thursday recorded net outflows of $84.86 million and $95.30 million respectively.

The previous eight-week losing streak had seen over $8 billion in cumulative withdrawals from the spot Bitcoin ETFs. The heaviest outflows occurred in the last full week of June, which posted $1.79 billion in net outflows, the largest since February 2025.

Bitcoin’s price responded positively to the change in investor sentiment, rising 3% over the week to trade above $64,000.

Ethereum ETFs also broke a similar negative streak. Over the same eight-week period, cumulative net flows for Ethereum ETFs dropped from $12.09 billion to $10.89 billion. Last week, the funds recorded $84.42 million in net inflows—the best showing since the week ending April 24. Only one day, July 9, saw net outflows of $52.08 million.

ETH’s price has also risen, currently challenging the $1,800 resistance level after a 2.7% weekly gain.

The reversal in ETF flows marks a significant shift in institutional sentiment toward the two largest cryptocurrencies. Investors will be watching closely to see if the positive momentum can be sustained in the coming weeks.
