Ripple (XRP) News Today: July 15
The company behind the popular cryptocurrency XRP has been active lately, announcing strategic partnerships and initiatives. The token remains the subject of numerous price predictions, with analysts split between ultra bulls and those calling for a crash.
On July 4th, the USA celebrated its 250th Independence Day, and Ripple teamed up with a nonprofit dedicated to helping unemployed veterans find high-quality jobs. The mission is to assist 200,000 people by 2030, with Ripple matching donations up to $10,000. The firm announced that 25 veterans have been selected to receive a $10K grant.
Ripple also joined the x402 Foundation as a premier member alongside Coinbase and Circle. The project focuses on building open-source standards for AI-powered payments, allowing agents to send, receive, and verify transactions across networks. Markus Infranger, senior vice president of RippleX, said: “Open standards like x402 help lay the foundation for trusted, interoperable machine-to-machine payments.”
Other achievements include full authorization as a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) in the European Union and a marketing partnership with the Kansas Jayhawks.
The launch of the first spot XRP ETF in the US in November 2025 was met with enthusiasm, with Canary Capital, Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, 21Shares, and Grayscale introducing products. Inflows consistently exceeded outflows for months, but a turn towards the end of June saw red days. Data from last week shows the multi-month green streak was broken, with over $7 million leaving the funds.
As of press time, XRP trades at around $1.11, a 3% increase on a daily scale, following lower-than-expected US inflation on July 14. Analysts like Crypto Patel call for an explosion to $9, while Celal Kucuker projects a rise to $7. However, bearish X user Diana noted XRP recently lost the $1.08 support, which could trigger a short-term sell-off to $0.87.
