Falcon Finance Launches USDf Card in More Than 90 Jurisdictions for Daily Spending
Falcon Finance has introduced a payment card that allows eligible users to spend USDf, its overcollateralized synthetic dollar, in more than 90 jurisdictions. The card is designed to connect tokenized collateral, onchain liquidity, and real-world purchases.
The Falcon Card enables users to spend USDf online, in stores, and through supported mobile wallets. Users can mint USDf by depositing approved collateral on Falcon or acquire the synthetic dollar through secondary markets before transferring it to the card. Access is subject to local eligibility requirements.
USDf is an overcollateralized synthetic dollar that lets users unlock dollar-denominated liquidity without selling their existing assets. Supported collateral includes stablecoins, major cryptocurrencies, tokenized gold, and selected tokenized equities. Falcon currently accepts Tether Gold and several tokenized stocks issued through Ondo Finance, including shares of Coinbase, Nvidia, Strategy, and Tesla, along with select xStocks products.
Funds transferred to the card are intended for payments and do not generate yield. Users seeking returns can stake USDf separately to receive sUSDf, Falcon’s yield-bearing product. The card carries no annual subscription fee, and Falcon does not impose an additional transaction fee, though foreign exchange charges may apply.
The launch reflects a broader effort in the crypto industry to connect tokenized real-world assets with consumer payments. By allowing users to spend liquidity created against tokenized collateral, Falcon aims to provide value without requiring users to directly sell their underlying assets.
