Solana Tokenized Assets Hit Record $5.8 Billion in Q2, up 114% as Stock Trading Volume Quadruples
Solana’s tokenized asset volume reached $5.77 billion in the second quarter of 2026, marking a 114% increase from the prior quarter and the network’s sixth consecutive quarterly record. Tokenized equities alone accounted for $4.8 billion of that total, quadrupling from $1.1 billion in Q1.
The final week of Q2 set a weekly all-time high of $1.42 billion in tokenized asset volume. The Q2 figure exceeds the entire $775 million generated across the second half of 2025 by more than seven times.
The Solana Foundation attributed the concentration of activity to the network’s sub-second transaction finality and low per-transaction fees, which have made it the preferred venue for tokenized-equity trading. According to the foundation’s data, Solana holds roughly 97% of cumulative spot trading volume for tokenized stocks, a position it has maintained for 54 consecutive weeks.
Superstate, a tokenization infrastructure provider, has reinforced that lead by launching Direct Issuance Programs that let companies issue tokenized shares instantly to KYC-verified investors on Solana, with real-time shareholder registry updates settled onchain.
While Solana leads in tokenized equities, Ethereum still holds a commanding lead in total tokenized real-world asset (RWA) value, with roughly $16 billion on its network. However, Solana’s RWA holder base climbed to an all-time high above 300,000 wallets, ranking it first among all blockchains by that measure. Ethereum’s RWA base leans on large institutional allocations like BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, while Solana’s growth has been driven more by retail-accessible tokenized stock trading.
Institutional interest has followed. Securitize has expanded its tokenized AAA collateralized loan obligation fund, known as STAC, to Solana, with Ethena Labs committing $250 million to the product.
Total tokenized stock volume on the network first cracked the $1 billion milestone only months before reaching $5.77 billion in a single quarter. The next data point to watch is whether Q3 can extend the streak to a seventh consecutive record.
