Bitcoin ETFs Add $203 Million as Assets Climb Above $80 Billion
The institutional bid for crypto showed little sign of fading on Tuesday, July 21, as investors added capital across most major spot ETF categories. Bitcoin ETFs remained at the center of the move, attracting $203.14 million in net inflows—their sixth consecutive session of net additions.
BlackRock’s IBIT dominated the day with $163.89 million, accounting for over 80% of the category’s total. Fidelity’s FBTC followed with $23.11 million, ARK 21Shares’ ARKB added $9.69 million, and Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust received $6.46 million. No bitcoin ETF recorded a net outflow during the session. Total value traded reached $2.03 billion, up from $1.74 billion the previous day, and combined net assets closed at $80.94 billion, compared with $79.16 billion on Monday.
Ether ETFs posted a third consecutive day of net inflows, adding $37.47 million. BlackRock’s ETHA attracted $52.79 million, but the gain was reduced by a $15.32 million withdrawal from Fidelity’s FETH. Total trading value reached $645.28 million, with net assets ending the day at $10.48 billion.
XRP ETFs brought in $5.66 million, all flowing into Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ, the only product in the category to record a net addition. XRP ETF trading volume totaled $19.16 million, with combined assets closing at $1.06 billion.
Solana ETFs also gained ground, attracting $5.83 million. Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for most of the inflow. Total value traded reached $56.54 million, while net assets rose to $912.74 million.
HYPE ETFs moved in the opposite direction, recording a $698,040 outflow after no activity in the previous session. The withdrawal came entirely from 21Shares’ THYP. HYPE ETF trading volume totaled $9.62 million, with net assets closing at $306.30 million.
Tuesday’s flows reinforced a familiar pattern: Bitcoin continued to command the largest institutional allocations, while ether and selected altcoin products benefited from a broader, though more measured, expansion in demand.
