Ripple (XRP) ETF Inflows Hit All-Time High, but Investor Interest Wanes
The spot exchange-traded funds tracking Ripple’s XRP token started the week strong, hitting a fresh all-time high in total net inflows, but a familiar pattern of dwindling investor interest repeated in the following days. Meanwhile, HYPE ETFs experienced a second consecutive week of net outflows.
Data from SoSoValue shows that spot XRP ETFs attracted $2.49 million on Monday and $5.66 million on Tuesday. However, for the remaining three business days, there were no reportable net flows, with $0.00 recorded each day. A similar pattern occurred last week, when only one day saw positive inflows. In total, 10 of the last 15 trading days have seen zero net flows.
Despite these recent lulls, the overall cumulative net inflow for XRP ETFs has risen to nearly $1.5 billion, an all-time high. However, a deeper look reveals that investor interest has been declining. Before the past two weeks, the funds had enjoyed a nine-week streak with over $150 million in inflows.
The underlying XRP asset initially pumped from under $1.09 to a multi-day peak of $1.16, possibly driven by the early ETF inflows, but has since fallen back below $1.10 as of press time.
For HYPE ETFs, the trend is more negative. After a record week with over $110 million in inflows, investors have pulled money out for two consecutive weeks. In the last five trading days, net outflows exceeded $8.6 million, following $7.26 million the week before. Cumulative net inflows have dropped from a record $308.60 million to $292.73 million as of Friday’s close.
