AEREDIUM CEO Says AI Strengthens Stablecoin Reserve Oversight
AEREDIUM Holdings was granted a U.S. patent for an artificial intelligence system designed to continuously audit digital asset reserves in real time. The United States Patent and Trademark Office issued Patent No. 12,694,407 B1 on July 29, invented by founder and CEO Albert Dadon.
The system aims to replace traditional monthly or quarterly attestations produced by accounting firms, which often take weeks to publish while reserve balances fluctuate. AEREDIUM’s patented system uses four independent AI models that must reach consensus to determine outcomes, with a compliance engine having override power. Status levels range from PASS to HALT; a HALT instruction automatically rejects token transactions via smart contracts, preventing impaired reserves from trading. Audit findings are recorded on a primary blockchain within minutes and cross-anchored to a secondary chain.
Dadon stated, “Trust in this industry has always been retrospective — you found out whether the reserves were there after it mattered. This patent makes trust a live property of the asset itself.”
The patent was granted without narrowing of its original claims, providing broad legal protections. Dadon noted that applying machine learning to autonomous auditing of digital asset reserves is now protected under the granted claims. AEREDIUM is preparing international patent filings and engaging with U.S. regulators.
Dadon clarified that the AI system is not intended to replace legally mandated audits but to complement them. He expects regulators to eventually demand continuous verification as the technology becomes established, stating, “In the United States, reserve requirements for payment stablecoins are set in statute, and continuous verification against a statutory standard is precisely what this architecture was built for.”
